Time Out says

It’s not everyday that L.A. gets a brand-new musical festival. So this Dublab-presented three day fest, held at 2220 Arts + Archives, is a welcome addition to the city’s live music scene. Boasting an agressively independent lineup of local bands, European musicians and many acts who are performing in L.A. for the first time, the three-day fest will be filled with performances spread across the venue’s Theater and Archives stages. Highlights include L.A. bands Agriculture and Dummy, jazz outfit Human Error Club, San Francisco–based Deerhoof, composer Lubomyr Melnyk and Supercollider’s first performance in nearly 30 years. I’m particularly intrigued by the “Guided Tour of the Ocean Sounscape” on the lineup, made up of underwater sounds recorded from deep trenches and under arctic ice. See the full schedule here.
