Some people say they channel the earth in their art, but musican and biologist Tarun Nayar really channels it—quite literally by plugging his synths into mushrooms. During this two-hour experience, Nayar (under the guise of his project, Modern Biology) will use the bioelectrcity of the flora and fungi at Hahamongna Watershed to fill the Pasadena park with an ambient soundscape. The late afternoon event starts with a park cleanup and a talk from a local naturalist.
