Lucas Museum at Leimert: Family Art Day

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is still a couple of years away from opening, but you can get a taste of the museum’s family-friendly programming during a free, off-site event this summer. Head over to Leimert Park Village Plaza on July 13 between 10am and 2pm and you can create your own fantastic creature mask and listen to inspiring talks from a Star Wars concept artist and a Walt Disney Animation Studios artist. The Lucas Museum will be running free shuttles to and from the plaza from nearby community organizations; check the website for the full schedule.
