Last Nite + Music for the Masses

Two parties in one! The early aughts make a comeback at Last Nite, a Halloween dance party devoted to the Strokes, as well as their contemporaries and influences—expect to hear tracks by the Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, Velvet Underground, Iggy Pop, the Ramones and more. Over on the Virgil’s second dance floor, Music for the Masses will find DJs spinning ”dark ’80s new wave” by the likes of the Cure, Depeche Mode, David Bowie and the Smiths. Costumes are encouraged—we’re guessing a Robert Smith getup would fit in nicely.
