Now’s your chance to test the limits of your stomach again with Time Out L.A.’s annual Mac and Cheese Smackdown, a cheesy festival on December 4 featuring seven mac and cheese dishes from some of L.A.’s best restaurants. Get your fill of food’s greatest marriage with mac and cheese from POP Champagne & Dessert Bar, The Hudson, Max City BBQ, Little Pine, BOA Steakhouse, Trencher and Comfort LA, plus a side dish of smoked brisket with curried root vegetables from GC Marketplace and decadent mini pavlova desserts from Crème Caramel LA.
You didn’t think we’d leave out the booze, did you? Wash your mac and cheese down with Dark Horse Wine, Angel City Brewery beer and Rekorderlig Cider, then enjoy music, games and more.
The Mac and Cheese Smackdown will take place over three sessions at Brookfield's Bank of America Plaza (333 S Hope St): Noon-2pm, 2:30-4:30pm, 5-7pm. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here, and there is parking available for $5. This event is 21+.
