The James Beard Foundation is kicking off its nationwide Taste America tour this fall, and its kickoff event will be held in Los Angeles at the LINE Hotel in Koreatown. The evening will consist of small plate and drink stations from local chefs and restaurateurs including Lord Maynard Llera of Kuya Lord, winner of this year’s Best Chef: California. Other highlighted participants include Max Boonthanakit and Lijo George of Camphor, Gilberto Cetina of Holbox and Sarintip “Jazz” Singsanong of Jitlada. Expect over 11 walk-around stations from critically accalimed local chefs with unlimited bites and drinks.
