The Hollywood Roosevelt’s 97th Oscars Viewing Gala

Watch the Oscars pre-show—no, literally look out the window and watch the stars arrive half a block away—as the Hollywood Roosevelt toasts to the awards show. Fun fact: The hotel’s ballroom—the site of this party—also hosted the very first Academy Awards ceremony in 1929. (Of course, that stretch of Hollywood is pretty much on lockdown during Oscar night, so be sure to bring a bit of patience if you’re not within walking distance.) But this gala will make it worth your while; admission, though pricey, will get you a welcome glass of champagne, two cocktails and a four-course dinner with wine as you watch the telecast.
