Historic Filipinotown Eastern Gateway Unveiling

Historic Filipinotown finally has a proper archway to mark its boundary (dubbed “Talang Gabay - Our Guiding Star”) and to mark its official unveiling, the city is hosting a ribbon cutting and lighting ceremony that includes music and dance performances (including the U.S. national anthem performed by Tia Carrere and the Philippines national anthem performed by Jeserey Sanchez). You’ll find the celebration at Beverly Boulevard and Belmont Avenue on May 7 from 4 to 7pm.
