Triangle, circle, star or umbrella? This Saturday, West Hollywood cocktail bar Employees Only is hosting a Squid Game-themed Halloween, complete with the show’s now-infamous honeycomb candy challenge.
For $20, guests can try their hand at extracting their candy’s shape with a needle in a test of steady hands. Winners receive a free specialty drink, while all players receive a free shot of mezcal. A “Life and Death” mezcal cocktail topped with ginger honey crystals pays homage to the show’s depiction of the popular South Korean candy, also known as dalgona. Staff will also be dressed in theme with eerie Squid Game-influenced decor throughout the indoor-outdoor space, as well as live music and the show itself playing on screens.
Proof of vaccination required for indoor access. Reservations suggested, but not required.
