Los Angeles’ many breweries and distilleries usually steal the show, so it’s easy to forget that the city’s winemaking scene was once renowned across the country and Europe. Well, L.A. is reclaiming its lost viticultural heritage with this first-of-its-kind festival devoted entirely to wines grown in Greater Los Angeles, presented by the L.A. Vintners Association. A ticket gets you unlimited tastings of more than 30 handcrafted and small-production wines from 11 wineries who work with vineyards in Malibu, Bel Air, Santa Clarita, the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas. Choose from two entry times: 4pm or 6:45pm.
