Food Book Fair L.A.

Calling all food, book and food-book nerds: NYC's Food Book Fair is finally moving west, and it's bringing discussions, delicious eats, cookbooks, food magazines and parties to DTLA for a full weekend of food-focused events. Take part in cultural celebrations, demos, talks and reflections on the way we harvest food and how it connects all of us. Tickets and prices vary, and are going fast—the panel discussions are now sold-out (though there are waitlists) and the workshop's in the same boat—but you can still nab a ticket to Friday night's kickoff party, as well as Saturday's keynote panel and dinner event. Then on Sunday, head to Smorgasburg where Food Book Fair will be popping up with "Foodieodicals," a retail outpost for new and vintage cookbooks, food mags and more.
