Time Out says

While Los Angeles has some universally beloved architectural marvels, there are some buildings that are decidedly love-them-or-hate-them. Local nonprofit organization—and experts on L.A.’s historical architecture—Los Angeles Conservancy gets that, and is letting Angelenos weigh in with the return of its popular “Don’t Call Me Ugly” walking tour. Starting at the Maguire Gardens at Central Library, the tour will bring guests to a handful of Modernist structures from the 1960s and ’70s that are often considered “tough-to-love.” Are they ugly, or just misunderstood? You be the judge.
