Da Poetry Lounge

Every Tuesday night the intimate Greenway Court Theater plays host to Da Poetry Lounge, the biggest and longest-running spoken word open mic night in LA and among the few of its kind left. Make sure to line up early if you don’t want to end up sitting on the crowded stage, dish the $5, and prepare for a night of gifted wordplay likely to make you laugh and cry. Note that if you’re not quite a night owl, you’re encouraged to wait until the break at 10:30pm before heading out.
