Chef Jacques Pépin

A quick rundown of Jacques Pépin's career: graduated Columbia University; cooked for three French heads of state; wrote the famed cookbook La Technique; won of an Emmy in 2001 for his PBS series, Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home with Julia Child; recipient of France's L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and L'Ordre du Mérite Agricole; and currently works as dean of special programs at the French Culinary Institute.
