Two long-running SoCal institutions are teaming up this summer for a string of performances: The beloved Bob Baker Marionette Theater is staging weekend shows at Knott’s Berry Farm to mark the farm-turned-theme park’s 100th anniversary.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from May 21 through September 5, you’ll find the puppet troupe posted up at the Fiesta Plaza Stage for four daily presentations of Alegre!, a musical celebration with samba-dancing cacti and a marimba player, among other half-century–old restored puppet.
The performances are included in a regular park ticket, but just a heads up that for the near future at least you’ll need to secure a reservation ahead of time.
