AFI Fest

See future box-office hits as well as niche, indie gems at the annual AFI Fest, held in Hollywood. Each day, a mix of films will be shown at the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Chinese 6 Theatres. The complete schedule is listed online, but highlights include red-carpet premieres and special screenings followed by Q&As with filmmakers and stars like Tom Hanks, Amy Adams and Glenn Close. You’ll also find Oscar-contending world cinema, documentaries, shorts and a “Luminaries” section with the latest works by world-renowned filmmakers including Mike Leigh, Julie Delpy and David Cronenberg.
