818 Day: A San Fernando Valley Celebration

When the calendar and your area code align it’s time to celebrate, apparently: Topanga Social will host an extended weekend that pays homage to the San Fernando Valley. You’ll find vintage arcade games, DJs, caricature artists (Sat 11am–1pm) and a beer garden (Fri 6–10pm) that features pours from four nearby breweries, including 818 Brewing, Hand-Brewed, San Fernando Brewing Co. and Paperback Brewing Co. The Valley Relics Museum will also organize a pop-up display of neon signs from the area, while you’ll find the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters and the DeLorean from Back to the Future (Fri, Sat) in the parking lot of the Westfield Topanga food hall. Plus, look out for $8.18 menu specials all across Topanga Social.
