This utterly adorable musical adaptation of Winnie the Pooh heads to L.A. for a six-week run at Culver City’s Kirk Douglas Theatre. Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl and most of all Pooh (and Tigger, too) all hit the stage as life-size puppets that look like huggable versions of Disney’s animated takes on the A. A. Milne characters. During its East Coast run, our friends at Time Out New York called writer and director Jonathan Rockefeller’s family-friendly show both charming and enchanting.
