Summer of Shakespeare

The high profile Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles has partnered with Santa Monica College Theatre Arts for “Summer of Shakespeare,” a collaboration that launched the SMC Shakespeare Apprentice Company, which will perform the Bard's work on the SMC main campus from June 24-Aug 21. The group will perform student production of A Midsummer Night's Dream from June 24-July10 while professionals take on the Bard's Twelfth Night from July 27-Aug 21. Both productions have been "re-imagined." Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy in the quad area before the show.
