Candide

Growing up, Cunegonde and Maximilian, the beautiful daughter and son of the Baron, Paquette, a servant girl, and Candide, a bastard cousin, are tutored by Dr. Pangloss on his philosophy that "all is for the best in this best of all possible worlds." But Candide gets banned from Baron after his love for Cunegonde is discovered. From there, he's set off on a wild adventure as he strives to continue to be optimistic. The round-the-world romp just might have a happy ending.
