You think you know barre…but you don’t know Jake. As in the instructor Jake Dupree. He teaches a class so intense it’s called Jake That Body: A nonstop combination of barre, HIIT and body-weight resistance training. All I can say is I wish I lived closer to Sherman Oaks so I could take this class on the regular—it was by far the best workout I got all week (hell, all year). Not to mention the most entertaining: Peppering his workout banter with zingers like "keep your leg perfectly straight…like me," and addressing his students as "my little chimichangas," Dupree keeps you laughing through the pain.
