Murad's famed skincare line tends to South Bay with a spa that offers massages, waxing and treatments from head to toe for men, the bride-to-be and those looking to fight acne and aging. Those looking for a total overhaul can sign up for 12-week inclusive programs such as youth building ($595), which includes health consultation, coaching consult, firm and tone supplements, results assessment and at-home face regimen and weight management ($1300) of nutritional consultation, fitness assessment, body peel treatments and cellulite-smoothing kit. The spa itself is more clinical than luxe hideaway—there are nine treatment rooms that include a hair and nail salon—with a focus on facials. Think RX for lines and wrinkles with the youth-building facial ($140, 50 minutes; $175, 65 minutes) that includes an acupressure massage. But for an escape from the daily grind, we love the Onsen Restoration ($195)—you'll be massaged with and wrapped in a mix of clay muds (algae, Sedona, French red, Dead Sea and chamomile), followed by a soak in a private, Japanese onsen tub to soothe tired muscles.
