Zac’s Holiday Sweet Shop

While holiday shopping at Culver City’s Platform this weekend, be sure and stop by this pop-up shop, located at the Newsstand, for goodies for the sweet tooth on your list—or yourself. Founded back when Zac Coughlin was 13 years old, Zac’s Sweet Shop regularly makes lists of favorite Black-owned businesses (including Beyoncé’s!). The nostalgic treats include bags of salted-caramel chocolate pretzels, cake-batter cookies and, special for the holidays: cookie-butter sandwich cookies, peppermint sandwich cookies and cookies-and-cream dark-chocolate peppermint bark, made with Andes mints and Oreos.
