Meltdown Comics (CLOSED)

These days, Meltdown is perhaps known more for the comedy empire spawned in its back room, Nerdmelt Theater, now relocated to the neighboring storefront. Don’t let its fame as a comedy venue/podcasting powerhouse overshadow what continues to be one of the city’s largest selections of comic books. Meltdown will have just about anything you are looking for, and with their close ties to the indie and zine community, you’ll probably find something brand new too. Balancing out a significant portion of Meltdown’s 14,000-square foot floor space are vinyl toys, high-end action figures and other collectibles.
