Picture, if you can, a backwards “L” that runs south on La Cienega Boulevard from Santa Monica Boulevard, then west on Melrose Avenue to the Pacific Design Center, and you roughly have a map of the shops and showrooms that comprise the La Cienega Design Quarter. Each year, dozens of these galleries partner with an interior designer to deck out their street-facing windows according to a theme (this year: “The Fashion of Home”) as part of Legends. You can register (for a fee) to partake in all sorts of panels, workshops parties, but you’re welcome to peruse the windows for free.
