Family

Family is a gem of a bookstore with an excellently curated selection of international zines, art and photography books, comix, rare films, vinyl and cassette tapes. Owned by David Kramer and a co-founder of Cinefamily, Sammy Harkham, this tiny store is easy to miss but worth stopping into and getting lost in the colorful volumes and mini gallery in the back. The shop also hosts frequent in-store events, such as a book signing by indie filmmaker Michel Gondry.
