Time Out says

If you like your meal with a side of the macabre, we've found your (final?) destination: To Live and Di(n)e in L.A., an immersive dinner series where the ghosts are the guests. Each event, organized by local production company Drunken Devil, corresponds cocktails and dishes to L.A.'s gruesome history, leading you on a seated tour of our city's seedy underbelly.

Dinners include performance elements such as cabaret numbers between the courses, and you may just find yourself meeting Elizabeth Short—also known as the Black Dahlia—or even Charles Manson. Brack Shop Tavern's Christena Quinn has designed four courses inspired by different eras and true-crime cases, complete with paired cocktails like the Summer of '85 (a nod to Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker) made with Mr. Black's Cold Brew liquor, Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum and pineapple juice.

The dinner's location is unveiled only once you've purchased your tickets, and be warned: guests will be asked to sign a waiver—after all, things here can get... pretty dark.
