Urth has four locations around Los Angeles, but this one is the starlets' hangout of choice (you may even have seen it on Entourage). The focus is on the organic coffees, teas and vegan desserts, but the real point of interest is the collection of minor, medium and occasionally major celebrities who dine here…and the paparazzi parked outside to document their caffeine habits.

With swanky euro décor, leisurely outdoor seating, savory Italian favorites and perfectly balanced coffee drinks, Caffé Primo is a local hot spot that keeps customers coming back for more. Though this trendy coffee shop isn’t exactly the place for cozy sweatpants and high buns, the modern industrial style fits right into the neighborhood’s hip and happening scene. The only downside? Good luck finding parking on one of the busiest street in this city (parking at Sunset Plaza is a no go for Primo customers). It might lead to some cursing under your breath as you circle the block ten times, but once karma finally lands in your favor, it’s worth it.

It may be devastatingly hip in both attitude and décor, but Alfred Coffee & Kitchen wears its handlebar mustache well. Swing by this West Hollywood java shop to witness a young, tanned (and invariably Rag & Bone-clad) barista fashion you a mean Americano. The Wi-Fi is free, the coffee is courtesy of Stumptown, the pastries are tasty and the experience is irresistibly Instagram-able (Seriously. That "But first, coffee" decal should have its own handle).

A relaxed Middle Eastern décor combined with a boutique style atmosphere creates the perfect spot to unwind. But what’s the best part about Café Om, you ask? It’s completely family owned and operated (and extremely well priced). The buzz around town is that it feels like a home away from home—and we couldn’t agree more.

Pasadena-based Jones Coffee Roasters is doling out coffee at its second outpost attached to the West Hollywood Public Library, a happy circumstance for all caffeine dependent bookworms. The tiny location boasts free Wi-Fi and bare-bones (but functional) seating, where you can camp out with your recently borrowed library book and a freshly made pour over. Whether you snag a straight-up, black coffee or one of their heavenly lattes (the latte art here is out of this world), you'll be happy they ventured out of Pasadena. If you show up on a Tuesday, make sure to order one of the tamales. Bonus: the library validates for three hours of parking in their structure.
