Located on the lobby floor of the Conrad Hotel, José Andrés's new tasting-oriented restaurant concept spares no indulgence, from a Basque cheesecake covered in truffle shavings (priced by the gram) to sea urchin topped with scallop and caviar in a bath of gazpacho consommé. Expansive views of Downtown L.A. and the Walt Disney Concert Hall make this a decent choice for anyone catching a show across the street, though the polished, luxury feel of the interior design reads as more soulless than truly inspiring.
