An entire Phish-themed meal set to the tune of one of Phish's summer shows? All of these dreams are becoming real on Saturday, when Silver Lake spot Bar Restaurant hosts an evening of the band's official "Dinner and a Movie" series.
The sounds of Phish's September 1, 2012, show in Commerce City, Colorado, will be bouncing around the room through the restaurant's speakers, and chef Douglas Rankin—a Phish fan himself—will serve up a themed three-course meal that involves mizuna salad with "(shake your) coconut dressing," avocado and furikake; grilled eggplant with vadouvan yogurt, burnt onion vinaigrette and "conFEE" tomatoes; and a mango clafoutis for dessert.
The Phish-themed prix fixe runs in addition to Bar Restaurant's regular menu and costs $46 per person—a nod to song "46 Days," but don't expect this menu to stick around so long. Make your reservations for the Saturday special here.
