Looking for food with a little frivolity? The cavernous Palms Thai Restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard is Thai Town’s crowning jewel. The food is spicy and authentic, as evidenced by its always bustling dining room. While Palms no longer plays host to the infamous Thai Elvis that once dominated the dining room stage, there is still a bronze statue paying tribute to the hip-shaking impersonator. A few must-have dishes: the pad prik king, with its fiery dry curry sauce, and the flaky trout in a potent plum sauce.
