Tommy's has earned cult status in LA thanks in part due to its famed double chili cheeseburger. Two well-seasoned beef patties, cheese, pickles, a glop of hearty chili and a thick slice of tomato have kept this chain going since its first store opened on Beverly in 1946, and still draw crowds at more than 25 locations in California. Not into chili? They're open early for breakfast burritos and hash browns as well.
