Time Out says

The restaurant specials from virtual food club Off the Menu can always be found via smartphone app, but sometimes the company throws IRL food festivals and special collabs, too. This week, the team behind Wing Fest and this year's virtual Wing Showdown is bringing us another excuse to get eating, and it's enlisting a few major celebrities for a fundraising, one-day-only bake sale.

Off the menu tapped actors such as Elizabeth Olsen, Courteney Cox, and John and Caitlin Stamos to team up with some of our favorite bakeries in town, with each team contributing a limited-run pastry to the America's Sweetest box.

Courteney Cox is joining forces with Little Pine for a "coco bar," while Haylie Duff and Lou the French on the Block will be serving up a dual-concept danish. Eva Longoria dreamed up a blueberry-topped "Kroissant" with Porto’s Bakery, Bridget Moynahan and Joan's on Third will contribute a berry poundcake, and Elizabeth Olsen and Just What I Kneaded have a vegan berry Pop-Tart going on. Roselyn Sánchez, Eric Winter and Baked by ShaSha teamed up for "Sebelicious Delite" cookies, while John and Caitlin Stamos joined Valerie Confections for a "Layers of Love" cake. Finally, teaming up with Gjusta, Sam and Aaron Taylor Johnson are bringing the box a berry pie.

Each box runs $125 and includes every pastry involved, and it's available for presale now. On Wednesday, October 14—which is, of course, National Dessert Day—you can swing by the Beverly Center to pick up the goods, or for $10 more, get it delivered. You'll also be able to find limited à la carte pastries at their respective bakeries on the day of.

What's more, a portion from each America's Sweetest box sold benefits the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, which funds research, awareness of, and aid for children suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa—making the box and its cause extra sweet.
