Wednesday is a sacred day in the calendars of all winos, but Wednesday, May 25 is all the more special because it's National Wine Day—and this year, the Hook & Plow has put together the quitessential California spread for all your Southland drinkers. The farm-to-table restaurant will be offering a cheese and charcuterie board with a flight of three wines for $28. Keeping up with their locally sourced ingredients, the Hook & Plow will have a selection of six California wines to choose from. To pair with your wine, Chef Alejandro Arrieta has created a delicious board with California cheeses like Truffle Tremor from goat's milk and Italian black truffles, a selection of meats, and other treats like homemade fig jam and grilled pecan raisin bread. With a menu like this, we only wish it could be Wednesday everyday.
