Far below French rooftop restaurant Perch, sitting in a stylish basement, is a Japanese sushi and whiskey den dotted with art sourced straight from Tokyo galleries and the contemporary Japanese artists themselves. You'll enter Mrs. Fish by walking right under a 5,500-gallon saltwater fish tank, then take a seat at the sushi counter, the bar, the main dining room or one of Mrs. Fish's multiple booths or second-floor tables. If you're looking for more of a lounge near a bar, they've got that, too, and ditto an intimate, five-seat sushi bar with an omakase menu. It's a choose-your-own-adventure kind of restaurant, with endless mix-and-match possibilities of Japanese small plates, nigiri, and larger options like uni pasta.
