After much delay, Lincoln Carson’s Hollywood hotel brasserie has made its hotly anticipated debut, complete with an ultra-stylish grand dining room, luxurious seafood towers and all the trimmings of a celebration-style meal. Fans of the chef’s now-closed Bon Temps will enjoy the chocolate soufflé and other sweet delights at Mes Amis, but the eatery’s seasonally driven French cuisine offers equally compelling options, like a steak tartare topped with crispy shallots and a tender smoked duck breast in huckleberry jus. The crowd might be truly Hollyweird—think tourists in zip-off shorts alongside wannabe influencers dressed to the nines—but the luxurious ambience and first-class service make Mes Amis a great option the next time you’re going out in the area.
