Joan's on Third

It may still be called Joan's on Third, but the second outpost of this LA institution has made its way to Ventura Place in Studio City. Housed in a former post office, the space is a remarkable replica of the original on 3rd Street, with various stations divided up by pastries, sandwiches, cold cuts and more. There are still shelves lined with SQIRL jam and homemade pressed juices, and a long communal table where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee and a pastry (the strawberry buttermilk scones are enough to convert any scone-hater). The one difference between locations? All that free neighborhood parking. Gotta love the Valley.
