In the heart of tourist country (a.k.a. spitting distance of Third Street Promenade), this globally inspired casual café serves a delicious daytime menu alongside well-made lattes and gourmet dog food—this is the Westside, after all. Think chilaquiles and waffles before 11am, then a bulgogi burger and Vietnamese-inspired lettuce wraps for lunch. On a newer dinner menu, available Thursday through Saturday evenings, chef-owner Angie Kim takes Interstellar to the next level with items like creamy mentaiko linguine and black truffle kimchi fried rice at night.
