Long-fermented sourdough crust is all the rage, but few in L.A. do it as well as Grá. The pizzeria at the edge of Echo Park and Historic Filipinotown just turned 1, and for the last year it's been feeding the masses funky and artful creations set to a vinyl playlist. This week, it's bringing Hollywood a taste of it, too.
On Wednesday, November 11, catch Grà taking over a restaurant patio within NeueHouse Hollywood, and the team is even bringing their own wood-fired oven and vinyl records. Normally NeueHouse's trendy coworking spaces are for members only, but this ticketed dinner is open to all—and it includes a three-course prix-fixe menu that can even be made vegan.
Each $55 ticket includes your choice of appetizer and pizza, plus dessert, with options such as puttanseca pizza made with fresh tomato sauce, garlic, shallot, salt-cured olives, cherry tomatoes, Calabrian chiles and Sicilian oregano; a classic margherita; and the spicy bacon and pineapple pizza featuring smoked scamorza, dashi-pickled pineapple, fermented chili condiment and cilantro. Take a peek at the full menu here, then snag your seat and definitely add some natural wine or kombucha once you're there.
