It only makes sense that Lucques's head bartender, Christiaan Röllich, would celebrate his new cocktail book with an inspired dinner party at the restaurant—but the four-course meal is an even more perfect fit than you'd imagine. Chef-owner Suzanne Goin is teaming up with the Lucques executive chef, Javier Espinoza, and together they're crafting a menu in honor of Röllich's Dutch ancestral roots, tailoring each course to the bartender himself.
Of course the book—"Bar Chef: Handcrafted Cocktails"—will be on hand for additional purchase ($35), and so will Röllich, to sign copies—that is, when he isn't mixing up drinks for you. For an additional $35 you can receive a cocktail pairing for every dinner course, meaning you'll be sipping drinks like bourbon with cassia bark, sassafras leaf and maple as you enjoy dishes like slow-roasted veal loin with greens, gouda and Belgian endive wrapped in ham. Naturally.
