Time Out says

One of our favorite pandemic-spurred delivery operations is popping up in Culver City this weekend, and it's debuting a new item in the process. Go Go Bird, a fried chicken concept from Hinoki & the Bird chef Brandon Kida, weaves Asian flavor into fried chicken that's inspired by iconic L.A. chain Pioneer Chicken. Kida serves Jidori chicken that's been marinated, fried to a golden brown and finished with Sichuan spices and chili oil for a new take on the nostalgic icon, and offers sides such as mashed potatoes topped with Japanese-curry gravy.

From June 11 to 13, Kida and co. will be popping up in Culver City's new food hall, Citizen Public Market, offering Go Go Bird tenders, wings and sides, plus a new fried chicken sandwich, which comes with pickled vegetables, Japanese-inspired ranch dressing and one side dish. And because the Go Go Bird team is also behind Go Go Gyoza—another of our favorite 2020-founded delivery services—they'll also be offering chicken gyoza with their house-made blends of chili oil and aromatic soy sauce so you can try the best of both worlds.
