Dougnuts with Friends

After settling nicely into the Standard in Hollywood, Alma is adding a twist to their hotel menu with inventive doughnuts from fellow chefs. Starting on November 1, local and national chefs will collaborate with Alma's Ari Taymor in crafting a bespoke doughnut, available on the Standard's breakfast, lunch, all-day and room service menus for two weeks. First up is Kwang Uh (Baroo), who has crafted a coconut labocha squash glazed doughnut, filled with matured banana compote and topped with fried mochi, candied pumpkin seeds and yuzu zest.
