An Evening on the Beach

Fingerlicking grub, tasty cocktails, and ocean views—it must be another "An Evening on the Beach" bash. Back again in support of St. Vincent Meals on Wheels—now celebrating its 40th year—chefs and attendees will fill the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica with mouthwatering morsels from award-winning restaurants. This year's event takes place on September 14 and promises snacks off the grill, wine and cocktail tastings, mixed with great music, sunshine and bare feet. If that doesn't persuade you, then maybe the chefs lineup will. With more than 20 chefs, you can enjoy the likes of Evan Funke of Felix Trattoria and Jose; Genevieve Gergis of Bestia; and Dahlia Narvaez Pizzeria and Osteria Mozza—all while washing down your food with specialty cocktails at the martini bar. Tickets are $185 and include parking, and all proceeds benefit homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents by providing more than 4,000 needed meals.
