If you’re in the mood for a night out but don’t want to sacrifice sleep, you’re in luck: Earlybirds Club—a dance party that provides a safe space for middle-age-ish women, nonbinary and trans people—is making its L.A. debut this week fresh off a run of sold-out events in Chicago and New York. The parties start early (6pm) and end early (10pm), “because people our age have sh*t to do in the morning,” explain cofounders and friends Laura Baginski and Susie Lee. There are two chances to join in on the fun: in San Pedro (on January 10) and Silver Lake (January 11).
