If you’re one of the literally millions of people who picked up pickleball in the past few years, then you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a new batch of courts bound for L.A.—and these ones boast some pretty pleasant skyline views.

Vintage Land, the 101-110-interchange–adjacent open-air spot that’s home to the relocated Los Feliz Flea market, will be installing three pickleball courts on its rooftop space this October. Though the courts will require a membership to use, they’ll be open daily, even during the weekend flea market.

First, we should clarify that the “rooftop” here isn’t quite a skyscraper; the building at 1030 Alpine Street is basically a two-story parking garage. But if you’ve ever been to the Los Feliz Flea, which moved to the lot at the beginning of the year, you’ll know that the space offers some flattering views of DTLA.

As for the pickleball part, the small-court paddle sport will play out on three patches of outdoor turf thanks to Angel City Pickleball. You’ll need to enroll in a $50-a-month membership in order to play, but that’ll entitle you to an introductory lesson as well as the opportunity to bring up to three guests along with you. The courts will be open seven days a week, even during the flea market.

“We’re thrilled to expand the Vintage Land experience with this exciting new addition,” said Los Feliz Flea cofounder Phillip Dane in a statement. “Now, along with shopping at the flea market, visitors can bring a racket and enjoy a fun game of pickleball with friends on our rooftop courts.”

The pickleball courts will make their debut on October 19. And the Los Feliz Flea peddles its vintage, antique and collectible offerings on Saturdays from 11am to 5pm. Admission to the flea market is free.
