As they say, when one door closes, another opens: Following the shuttering of the iconic Arby’s in Hollywood at 5920 Sunset Boulevard, the legendary Prince Street Pizza announced the debut of a pop-up drive-through at the location starting August 8 through Halloween.

According to an official press release, the destination will exclusively sell pizza by the slice alongside the brand’s new mozzarella sticks, which we obviously cannot wait to try.

“To help the owners [of the building] fulfill the lease [that Arby’s did not renew] and keep the location as a culinary destination, Prince Street Pizza CEO Lawrence Longo conceived of the idea to convert the restaurant into a pizza-slice drive-through, allowing local commuters and visitors alike to experience the award-winning pizza exclusively in slice form,” reads the release.

Open daily from 4pm to 4am, the drive-through will be the ideal spot to satisfy your late-night cravings: There’s nothing quite like a slice (or three) of pizza after a night of drinking.

“We are so honored to be able to lease the historic, old Arby’s space in Hollywood,” Longo said in an official statement. “We are excited to experiment with the idea of a pizza slice drive-through. There is nothing of its kind and we think it will make an impact on Hollywood as we will offer premium and fresh handmade pizza with the convenience of a drive-through.”

As for the question on everyone’s mind: The famous neon sign that defined that specific Arby’s will, indeed, stay put.

“Even though we are bringing in a new concept to the space, we are not touching the sign as we see it as part of history,” the CEO said.
