How do you convince Angelenos—who can see sitcom stars and celebrated stand-ups at small clubs just about any night of the week—to buy into the idea of a comedy festival? You fill it with a staggering assortment of comedy talent.

That was the main selling point behind Netflix’s first go-around at a comedy fest, and, you know, based on the shows we attended in 2022 it ended up working out pretty well. It’s no surprise then that Netflix is a Joke Fest is returning in 2024, and the second edition’s lineup is still just as astonishing: Ali Wong, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Rock, Taylor Tomlinson and literally hundreds of others will perform at 35 venues across L.A. (and some of the performances will, of course, be filmed for Netflix specials).

From May 2 to 14, 2024 you can expect to see more than 300 shows at venues as small as the Troubadour and Dynasty Typewriter and as large as the Hollywood Bowl and the Forum. In that respect, it’s really more of a marathon than a festival: Aside from Outside Joke, an outdoor area with stand-up sets and shows behind the Hollywood Palladium, sets are in proper performance venues and you’ll need to buy separate tickets to each show. Speaking of, tickets go on sale December 15 at 10am.

As for the rest of the performers, some standouts include Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze and Sebastian Maniscalco together at the Hollywood Bowl; table reads of classic films hosted by Chris Rock at the Palladium; four shows from Ali Wong at the Wiltern; a roast of Tom Brady at the Forum; Taylor Tomlinson, Sarah Silverman, Nikki Glaser and Michelle Buteau at the Hollywood Bowl; the cast of Big Mouth at the Greek; a for-charity show with music, comedy and fireworks dubbed Seth Rogen Smokes the Bowl; a conversation series with David Letterman at the Montalban; an evening with the creators of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson at the Greek; and so many more.

Check out the full lineup below (at least as of publication—the 2022 event had some last-minute additions) broken down by venue. You can find more timing and ticketing info on the festival site.
