Count us among the folks who thought there was no way that a new Kanye West album was actually coming out this week. Now, not only is the delayed Jesus is King for real due out on Friday, but West will be previewing the album and its complementary film at the Forum on Wednesday.

Free tickets for the Jesus is King album listening party and film screening go on sale soon—like in in a couple of hours for pre-sale tickets soon. In order to nab a presale code, you’ll need to preorder Jesus is King, after which you’ll receive a code for Tuesday’s 10am presale. General sales begin Wednesday at 10am. In both cases, the ticket to the actual event is free.

We first spotted the news on Variety, which details the bumpy road to the delayed album’s release. The site also sheds a bit of background info on the film component: Also titled Jesus is King, the IMAX film features a performance of West’s gospel Sunday Service at Arizona’s Roden Crater, which L.A.’s own James Turrell has transformed into an otherworldly open sky observatory. If you miss out on the event, you can still see Jesus is King screened in IMAX (despite the touristy zoo in its forecourt, we’re always partial to the projection quality at the Chinese Theatre).
