We’re all waiting to see whether or not the Rams (and, we suppose, the Chargers…) will make it through the wild card round and all the way to the Super Bowl this year (fingers crossed). But regardless of their fate (or whether you want to fly to New Orleans to catch the February 9 game at the Caesars Superdome), you’ll be able to watch the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium—completely gratis.
Verizon has just announced that it will be hosting a unique FanFest at stadiums across all 30 NFL markets on Super Bowl LIX Sunday, offering “food and beverages from locally-owned small businesses, meet and greets with local football heroes, live local music acts, interactive games and unique football fan experiences.”
Keep in mind that, although tickets are free, they are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can request yours right here.
“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” said Leslie Berland, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon in an official statement.
Each stadium event will be slightly different; for the Inglewood edition, you’ll be able to see retired Rams running back Marshall Faulk plus some other local NFL legends and cheerleaders; tour the locker room and take photos with the Lombardi trophy; attempt on-field football challenges; catch a performance by the Mariachi Rams; and grab a bite from some local places to eat.
Think of the activation as a giant Super Bowl watch party—one that will be even more fun if the Rams or Chargers make it all the way to the end!
