Have you ever wanted to enjoy a white tablecloth experience before noon?

From October 18 to 20, Dunkin’ is teaming up with American Express to promote its newly added $84 yearly cash-back credit for Gold cardholders. During the weekend pop-up held at 8900 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, the coffee-and-doughnut company will serve Döňůt by Dunkin’, a $100 12-course fine dining breakfast that you can book on Resy.

The full-service experience consists of three premium beverages (with some booze included) and a mix of never-before-seen items and slightly fancier versions of the multinational chain’s beloved menu staples. Amex Gold cardholders can book the same experience for $25 less. The menu is as follows:

  1. Pumpkin Muffin Bite
  2. Sungold Avocado Toast
  3. Poutine Style Hash Browns
  4. Mini Bagel Breakfast Sandwich
  5. Crème Anglaise Donut
  6. Golden Royale Spiked Refresher Mimosa
  7. Scotch Egg
  8. Fresh Fruit Salad infused with a Dunkin’ Mint Tea Syrup
  9. Horchata Iced Coffee
  10. Coffee Milk Ice Cream Donut
  11. Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf Petit Four
  12. Spiced Cold Brew Old Fashioned

Fast food gone highbrow? Here’s hoping it fares better than this past weekend’s widely panned ChainFEST at ROW DTLA, which the Los Angeles Times recently blasted in a scathing first-person review. While we can’t personally vouch for the quality of Dunkin’ and Amex’s limited-time tasting experience, a few scattered reviews from the recent NYC version of the pop-up seem to be positive.

A mile and a half away at 8013 Melrose Avenue, Amex and Dunkin’ are also running the Amex Gold Café, an afternoon coffee and snack pop-up that will give away a free Dunkin’ “Gold Brew” (which is sweetened with salted caramel brown sugar syrup and topped with golden caramel cold foam) and grab-and-go snacks from Botanica, Great White and (sigh) SQIRL. The café will be open from noon to 4pm, but since the free giveaway is on a first come, first served basis, we highly recommend arriving well before the pop-up opens at noon. Ah, the tragedy of the commons!

Finally, in the same space where Döňůt by Dunkin’ is being held, Amex is also holding Last Light by Resy, a three-night dinner and live DJ series featuring five shared plates and two complimentary beverages curated by Venice’s Gran Blanco. Each tasting experience also costs $100, with a $25 discount for Amex Gold cardholders. While we’re not the biggest fans of the first two featured restaurants—Scopa Italian Roots and Dudley Market—the final evening does feature Damian, which we consider one of the best restaurants in the city.

Döňůt by Dunkin’ will be held 10am–noon from Friday, Oct 18 to Sunday, Oct 20 at 8900 Melrose Ave in West Hollywood. Amex Gold Café will be held noon–4pm on those same days at 8013 Melrose Ave in Los Angeles.
